Precautions for daily operation of water treatment equipment

The normal maintenance and upkeep of the equipment will seriously affect its safe use and lifespan. Please pay attention to the following matters when using it:

1. Conduct at least 2 inspections and records of the operation status of the equipment every day. Hardness, residual chlorine, and conductivity must be tested daily, and bacteria and endotoxins must be tested monthly. Only after the water quality is qualified can it be put into use.

2. Consumables should be replaced in a timely manner. The precision filter element should be replaced every 1-3 months, and the reverse osmosis membrane should be replaced every 2-3 years. If the water production decreases by more than 30% or the product water conductivity is higher than 10 μ s/cm, the reverse osmosis membrane also needs to be replaced.

3. The pure water balancer (if any) and bacterial isolation respirator should be replaced once a year.

When the equipment is not in use, it is also necessary to ensure water and electricity supply, ensure the automatic flushing function of the equipment, and prevent microbial growth from damaging the system. (It is strictly prohibited to turn off the power of the host)

5. If the equipment needs to be moved or left for a long time, please contact the seller or manufacturer for guidance before proceeding.

6. Personnel who have received professional training from the manufacturer must be responsible for the equipment, and untrained non professionals are not allowed to operate this equipment without authorization.

7. Equipment malfunctions must be resolved by professional operators contacting the manufacturer's engineers, and unauthorized disassembly of the equipment is not allowed.

8. Cable lines should be checked regularly for signs of damage to ensure reliable grounding wires. If damaged, they must be replaced immediately.

9. The equipment may experience localized high temperatures during disinfection and operation, and non trained professionals are not allowed to touch the equipment. Dialysis cannot be carried out until disinfection and flushing are completed. For emergency dialysis patients, disinfection must be stopped midway, and the flushing procedure must be completed. The water quality must be tested and qualified before use.

During disinfection, the department must hang clear warning signs next to the dialysis hall and equipment to indicate that the system is being disinfected and to prevent burns.

10. The equipment needs to be disinfected regularly, and disinfection is required when microbial testing exceeds the intervention value.

11. The softening regeneration agent must be added normally and high-quality granular water machine specific softening regeneration agent must be used. The softening regeneration box must ensure that there is always undissolved regeneration agent, otherwise it will seriously reduce the service life of the water treatment membrane components.

12. The valves of the equipment must not be adjusted arbitrarily. When the equipment is running, it is in a high-pressure state. Adjusting the valves arbitrarily can cause local pressure to rise, resulting in system damage and personal injury.
