Maintenance of hemodialysis room water treatment system
The water treatment system is an indispensable and important equipment. All blood dialysis machines in the hospital's blood dialysis room can work normally, and the safety of dialysis patients plays an important role. The failure of the water treatment system will affect the normal operation of the entire medical system. In the maintenance of medical equipment, there is always a mindset of emphasizing maintenance over minor repairs. But for water treatment systems, daily maintenance plays a very important role and is an indispensable part of daily work.
Composition and working principle of water treatment system
Before the raw water reaches the reverse osmosis machine, the hydraulic pressure will decrease to a certain extent. In order to ensure the pressure of the reverse osmosis water and the flow of water into the machine, it is necessary to install a water treatment system with a water pump to ensure the working pressure of the water supply system. On the contrary, reverse osmosis membranes will be destroyed instead of removed. Therefore, free chlorine and chloramines must be removed before water enters the reverse osmosis machine. Meanwhile, due to the presence of a certain proportion of repulsive ions in the reverse osmosis membrane, if not treated, the concentration of calcium and magnesium ions in the reverse osmosis water will exceed the standard. Resin softener is equipped with strong acid sodium resin, allowing sodium ions to exchange with calcium and magnesium ions on the resin, effectively removing calcium and magnesium ions from water. The selection of resin softener should be based on the requirements of raw water quality and water rate to ensure that the treatment continues to soften. There should be enough recycled salt in the recycled salt bucket. It is best to have solid salt in saltwater. Under the premise of saturated salt water, the regeneration effect of resin softener should be ensured.
The secondary filter is a particle filter installed before entering the reverse osmosis machine, mainly to block fine resin and activated carbon particles larger than 5m, and protect downstream reverse osmosis machines. Soften the raw water through the above process to achieve the reverse osmosis machine. The dialysis water that meets the requirements is transported to the hemodialysis machine through a reverse osmosis membrane and pipeline.
Operation and maintenance of water treatment system
Water treatment should be kept dry to ensure water supply and power supply. Water treatment equipment should be independent of each work document, and daily operations of the equipment should be recorded, including operating voltage, water conductivity, pH value of pure water, and working pressure. Check the salt level in the salt bucket every day and find that it is not enough. It should be supplemented in a timely manner. If not adjusted in a timely manner, observe the control head time of each fuel tank every day.
The filtration accuracy of secondary filtration is 5 microns, and it is usually replaced every two months. The sand filter and activated carbon filter are backwashed every three days, and the resin softener is regenerated every two days. Sand filters, activated carbon filters, and resin softeners are usually replaced once a year. But in practical work, it is necessary to replace the dialysis water in a timely manner based on the local water quality and raw water quality.
Water quality monitoring of dialysis water
Bacterial cultivation should be conducted once a month. The sampling point is the end of the reverse osmosis pipeline. The endotoxin test should be conducted every three months. The sampling point is also the end of the reverse osmosis pipeline. Soft water hardness and free chlorine are tested once a week. Chemical pollutants in reverse leakage should be tested annually by qualified inspection units approved by the Quality Control Center.
Disinfection of water treatment system
Removing chemical pollutants is easier than removing biological pollutants. No matter how advanced the water treatment system is, it cannot eliminate biological pollution. It is important to grasp the timing of disinfection. In general, reverse osmosis machines and pipelines should be disinfected every three months. Summer is the peak season for various bacterial growth, so reverse osmosis machines and pipelines should be disinfected every two months. After entering the disinfection process, the water treatment system automatically soaks and circulates, and then discharges the disinfectant. After thorough cleaning, the residual concentration of disinfectant must be tested to ensure that the water quality meets the standard.
