Pollution and Cleaning of Reverse Osmosis Membrane in Hemodialysis Water Treatment System
The system was used to preprocess the feedwater and obtain reverse osmosis water through a secondary reverse osmosis system. When the reverse osmosis membrane is contaminated, chemical cleaning of the reverse osmosis system is required. The cleaning process is as follows:
Alkaline cleaning: (1) The disinfection method of the water treatment system is to add sodium hydroxide to form a concentrated solution in a circulating buffer tank (the amount added is calculated based on the system capacity, and the concentration of the mixed sodium hydroxide solution is about 0.1%). The set cycle time is 1 hour, and the soaking time is 6 hours. Monitor the pH and temperature of the solution during the cycling process. After mixing, the pH value of the solution is about 12.

When the temperature of the solution reaches about 30 ℃, the cycle begins to soak. During the soaking process, the temperature of the solution is maintained at around 30 ℃ every 30 minutes. After soaking, the cleaning solution is emptied. When entering the cleaning mode, the system is washed with reverse osmosis water, and the pH value of the solution is close to 7.
(2) During the cycling process, the pH and temperature of the solution were monitored. When the pH value of the solution is higher than 2-3, add citric acid solution to maintain the pH value at 2-3. When the temperature of the solution reaches around 30 ℃, the cycle begins. During the soaking process, maintain the solution temperature at around 30 ℃ for 30 minutes and cycle every 30 minutes. The pH value of the solution was measured and found to be higher than 2-3. A citric acid solution was added to the solution to maintain the pH value at 2-3. After soaking, the cleaning solution was emptied. Enter cleaning mode and rinse the system with reverse osmosis water until the pH value of the solution approaches 7. 5%
The water treatment system will switch to the working mode, observe the operating parameters, increase the system water flow rate, reduce the pressure difference between paragraphs, and the conductivity of the soft mud water will not change significantly, proving that the reverse osmosis membrane cleaning effect is good.
The fouling of reverse osmosis membranes will lead to a decrease in membrane flux, efficiency, and even the absence of water and membrane damage. As a result, the hemodialysis room cannot operate normally, affecting the normal treatment of dialysis patients. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean the reverse osmosis membrane to restore its performance.
