The latest water quality standard YY/T0793.2-2023 for hemodialysis water equipment has been released
The "YY0572-2015 Blood Dialysis and Related Treatment Water Standard", which serves as the water quality standard for blood dialysis equipment, has undergone a version update after 5 years of use. It has been replaced by the new standard "YY0793.2-2023 Preparation and Quality Management of Blood Dialysis and Related Treatment Liquids Part 2: Blood Dialysis and Related Treatment Water". The new standard was released on November 22, 2023 and will be implemented on December 1, 2026. Quality requirements for dialysis water have been increased, fungal requirements have been added, inappropriate items cannot be removed, and detection/analysis methods for microorganisms and extraordinary chemical pollutants have been changed.
The previous versions of this standard and its replaced documents are as follows: YY0572-2005 was first published in 2005 and revised for the first time in 2015. This is the second revision, and the standard number has been changed to YY0793.2-2023.
