Ion exchange resin regenerant, also known as soft water salt, is composed of high-purity sodium chloride. Simply put, it is used to restore (reduce) the activity of ion exchange resin (ion exchange resin, the core part of the softening system, is used to adsorb calcium and magnesium ions in raw water, that is, water alkali) in the softening system of hemodialysis water equipment. The resin in the softening system needs to be continuously washed with saturated sodium chloride solution to restore its own activity, so the role of ion exchange resin regenerant cannot be underestimated.
